What our software actually does with data.
Written product by product rather than as one paragraph of generalities, because our tools genuinely differ: most of them send nothing anywhere, and the ones that do send it to a service you chose, under your account.

The short version.
Ulogon is a brand of Valley PC Ltd, a company registered in Wales. Valley PC Ltd is the legal entity behind every product named here and is the data controller for everything described on this page. Questions, requests and complaints go to hello@ulogon.com and are answered by a person.
We do not run an analytics business
No telemetry is built into any plugin or extension we sell. We do not collect usage statistics, we do not profile you, we do not sell anything to anyone, and we run no advertising network.
Your keys are yours
Where a tool uses AI, it uses your account with your provider. We never see your API keys, we never proxy your requests, and we have no inference bill to recover. That is a design decision, not a promise.
The only thing that reaches us
Licence activation. A paid extension asks its own product site whether a key is valid and how many browsers are using it. That request carries the key and a random identifier generated on your machine — nothing that identifies you personally.

Re-Prompter re-prompter.com
What it does. Builds thumbnails in the Chrome side panel: creative briefs, artwork, headline typesetting, editing and titles.
What leaves your browser. Your prompts, and any image you choose, go directly from your browser to the AI provider you configured, under your own API key. There is no Ulogon server in that path and we never receive them. If you point it at a model running on your own machine, nothing leaves the machine at all.
What stays on your machine. Projects, generations, personas, styles and images are stored in your browser. API keys are held in session storage, or encrypted with AES-GCM under a passphrase you set. Keys are never sent anywhere except the provider they belong to.
What reaches Ulogon. Licence activation only: re-prompter.com receives your licence key and a random device identifier.
Unprompter unprompter.dev
What it does. Reads an image and writes the prompt that would recreate it, in nine generator formats.
What leaves your browser. The image you select goes directly from your browser to the AI provider you configured, under your own API key. Camera metadata, including any GPS location, is stripped by the re-encode before the image is sent. With a local model, nothing leaves your machine.
What stays on your machine. Saved readings, thumbnails and non-secret settings stay in local browser storage until you clear them. A cloud provider API key is held in Chrome session storage and is cleared when Chrome closes.
What reaches Ulogon. Licence activation only: unprompter.dev receives your licence key and a random device identifier.
Pluck pluckme.dev
What it does. Turns any component on a page into an AI-ready prompt.
What leaves your browser. Nothing. The prompt is built in your browser from the page you are already looking at, and put on your clipboard. The page content is never transmitted.
What stays on your machine. Free mode stores the local calendar day and number of captures used that day. If you activate Pro, the licence key, random device identifier, licence state and last-check time are also held in local browser storage.
What reaches Ulogon. Free mode makes no request to us. Only when you activate or re-check Pro does pluckme.dev receive your licence key, a random device identifier and the browser user-agent.
PasteQueue pastequeue.com
What it does. Gives Chrome a clipboard queue: copy several things, paste them back in order.
What leaves your browser. Nothing. Everything you copy stays in your browser and is never transmitted, to us or to anyone else.
What stays on your machine. Queued clipboard items and any named saved queues are held in local browser storage until you clear or delete them. The source page URL is not stored.
What reaches Ulogon. Licence activation only: pastequeue.com receives your licence key and a random device identifier.
Elsewhere readelsewhere.com
What it does. Finds the open-access, repository or archived copy of an article you cannot read.
What leaves your browser. The article URL is sent to the Internet Archive and archive.today. If the page has a DOI and you enable Unpaywall, the DOI and the email address Unpaywall requires are sent to its API. A syndication result is a search link; the article title and publisher domain reach Google or DuckDuckGo only if you open that link. These are independent services with their own privacy policies, and we do not receive the lookup.
What stays on your machine. Quota and licence state stay in local browser storage. Settings, including the Unpaywall email, search-engine choice and dismissed site list, use Chrome sync storage and may be synced by Google when browser sync is enabled. Elsewhere does not keep a lookup history.
What reaches Ulogon. Licence activation only: readelsewhere.com receives your licence key and a random device identifier.
Accessibility Helper
What it does. Audits the page you are on against WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 and exports the report.
What leaves your browser. Nothing at all. The extension makes no network requests of any kind. The audit runs entirely in your browser and the report is generated on your machine.
What stays on your machine. Nothing is stored by the extension beyond the current audit. If you export the HTML report, the file remains wherever you save it until you delete it.
What reaches Ulogon. Nothing. This extension never contacts us.
Cyber Security Helper
What it does. Produces a security snapshot of the site you are on: cookies, headers, CSP quality and mixed content.
What leaves your browser. One request to the site you are auditing, in order to read its response headers. That request deliberately carries no credentials. Nothing is sent to us or to any third party.
What stays on your machine. The snapshot exists only while you are looking at it. An exported report remains wherever you save it until you delete it, and can contain live cookie values, so it must be treated as confidential.
What reaches Ulogon. Nothing. This extension never contacts us.
WP Client Handover Inspector
What it does. Builds a handover report for a WordPress site you can browse.
What leaves your browser. Requests to the audited site's own public endpoints, such as its REST API, in order to read what is publicly published there. Those requests deliberately carry no credentials. Nothing is sent to us or to any third party.
What stays on your machine. The report exists only while you are looking at it.
What reaches Ulogon. Nothing. This extension never contacts us.

Extension data is used only to deliver the feature you asked for.
Valley PC Ltd's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs and Chrome extension permissions complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Allowed use
Each extension handles data only to provide or improve its disclosed, user-facing single purpose. We do not repurpose extension data for unrelated products, profiling or creditworthiness.
Allowed transfer
We transfer data only when necessary to provide the feature you invoked, to comply with law, for security, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Provider-based products send data directly to the provider you selected.
No advertising or sale
We do not sell extension data and do not use or transfer it for personalised, retargeted or interest-based advertising.
No human reading
We do not allow people to read extension data except with your specific consent for support, when necessary for security, to comply with law, or after aggregation and anonymisation for internal operations.

What a licence check records.
Paid extensions are sold as a one-time licence covering three browsers, so the number of browsers has to be counted somewhere. It is counted on the product's own site.
What is sent
Your licence key, and a random identifier created on first run. That identifier is not derived from your hardware, your account or anything about you: it is random bytes, and releasing the seat discards it.
What is recorded
Each activation, check and release is written to an audit log with the time, the key, the random identifier, the outcome, the originating IP address and the browser's user-agent string. An IP address can be personal data, so we say so plainly.
Why we keep it
To enforce the seat limit you agreed to and to spot keys being shared publicly. It is not used for marketing, analytics or profiling, and it is never shared. Logs older than twelve months are deleted.
Working offline
A licence is re-checked periodically, from daily to weekly depending on the product. Each extension caches a valid grant and applies its documented offline grace behaviour, so a short loss of connection does not immediately disable paid features.

Plugins run on your server, not ours.
A WordPress plugin we sell is installed on a site you control. The data it touches is your site's data, it stays on your hosting, and we have no access to it.
Licences are domain-locked
A plugin licence is tied to a domain and verified in the plugin itself. There is no account to create and no dashboard we hold about your sites.
AI features use your provider
Where a plugin offers an AI feature, you supply the API key and the content goes from your server to that provider under your account. Those features are optional and off until you configure them.
Reports stay yours
Client reports, audits, exports and scores are generated on your server and stored in your database. They are not transmitted to us and we cannot read them.
Personal data you process
Some plugins handle data about your own visitors or customers, and for that data you are the controller and we are neither controller nor processor, because it never reaches us.

What ulogon.com collects.
The enquiry form asks for your name, email address, company and what you want to build. That message is emailed to us and used to answer you. It is not added to a mailing list and we do not send marketing you did not ask for.
Our hosting keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.

Asking us about your data.
Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it corrected or deleted, object to how we use it, or ask for a copy. Email hello@ulogon.com and we will answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Our products are not designed for or directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data about them.
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page, and the change will apply from that date onward.
